Overview

In 2008 “the cloud” was barely visible. Just two years later, it was the driving force in technology and a major buzzword in business circles. In between, Mezeo Software engaged DPK Public Relations as its public relations agency of record to assist in the company’s launch, position the company and its product, and build traction in the market.


Execution

DPK Public Relations’ work initially focused on identifying the compelling aspects of the Mezeo story to ensure it aligned with the interests and priorities of the customer community and addressed their hot button issues. We helped Mezeo keep it real by focusing on the tangible results being achieved by customers – a key differentiator.

DPK Public Relations activities on behalf of Mezeo encompassed a broad range of strategies and tactics, including developing and distributing news releases, tracking editorial calendars to proactively encourage placement of Mezeo subject matter experts in articles and blog posts, researching and crafting customer success stories, identifying speaking opportunities and submitting presentation proposals, producing online videos of interviews with company executives and customers, cultivating relationships with influencers in social media communities, and establishing and managing a social media presence.

Results

By establishing a drumbeat of trade media coverage, DPK Public Relations succeeded in positioning Mezeo as a trusted industry leader. The Mezeo Cloud Storage Platform (now MezeoCloud) earned rave reviews from analysts, journalists and bloggers while the company was made the list of “Coolest Cloud Storage Vendors” and “Coolest Emerging Vendors.”
