Aldridge Acquires Dallas-Based Managed Services Provider TWIST Solutions
Combined entity among the largest IT providers for growing businesses throughout Texas
DALLAS and HOUSTON, January 20, 2015 – Aldridge (www.aldridge.com), a leading provider of information technology (IT) outsourcing with elite first-response support, and TWIST Solutions, a managed services provider for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, are joining forces to become one of the largest IT providers for growing businesses throughout Texas. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Established in 2002, TWIST has specialized in providing SMEs with personalized, cost-effective IT support, network management and cloud services. Its clients include professional services firms as well as manufacturing and distribution companies, among other verticals.
"In the current IT environment, we determined it was necessary for TWIST to team with a larger and more mature managed services company to satisfy the increasingly complex demands of our customers, and Aldridge was the perfect match," said TWIST CEO Kevin Trottier. "Aldridge describes the concept of trust as its backbone, which is very much how we approach business. Everything we do builds trust or we won't do it."
Over time, the operations of TWIST Solutions will be integrated into Aldridge's Dallas operation, which is led by Senior Vice President Bryan Gregory. TWIST's leadership, Mr. Trottier and CTO H. Alex Famili, will remain temporarily for the transition process. The combined entity offers nearly 100 IT professionals who serve clients from offices in Dallas, Houston and Austin.

"This is our biggest acquisition to date and we expect integrating the TWIST team will help us scale up our business in Dallas rapidly and capture more opportunities in the underserved SME market."
