Black Book of Outsourcing Recognizes Getronics for Operational Excellence

HOUSTON, June 16, 2008 - The Black Book of Outsourcing has named Getronics, an international leader in workspace managed information and communications technology (ICT) services, among its Top 50 Best Managed Global Outsourcing Vendors. A total of 4,207 information technology and business processing service providers were evaluated; the selection of the Top 50 is based on the ballots of nearly 25,000 outsourcing users and clients.

Getronics' outsourcing solutions enable an organization's employees to perform at their best. Offered on a modular packaged basis that can be tailored to business needs, Getronics solutions help clients focus on their core business while cost-effectively keeping their ICT platforms consistently up-to-date, responsive and working in optimal condition without impacting productivity or disrupting business. This strategy is the basis for the Getronics global initiative, Future-Ready Workspace™, which continues to earn recognition and more importantly, client adoption.

"Our clients are positively responding to the opportunity to make their employees more productive by increasing IT infrastructure uptime and expanding connectivity options, personalization capabilities and intuitive collaboration," said Marilyn Nelson, vice president of marketing for Getronics USA. "Considering our niche focus on the user workspace anywhere and anytime, we are thrilled to be listed among the top 50 and proud to see so many of our partners make the list as well."

Outsourcing users and clients rated Getronics on 26 measures of leadership excellence, including client satisfaction with senior management direction, leadership impact on outsourcing results, business transformation practices, client relations management, and indicators of C-Level officer commitment. Sublists in twelve categories of outsourcing covered over 500 outsourcing functions, in 40 industries, from multiple organization sizes and locations. Sublists are rankings based on eighteen criteria of operational excellence and client satisfaction with outcomes. The Black Book initiative conducts the survey each year and this is its fourth update.
