NEWLY FORMED ORGANIZATION, THE BREWERS ASSOCIATION, NAMES SAINT ARNOLD BREWING FOUNDER TO BOARD
HOUSTON, December 1, 2004 – Saint Arnold Brewing Company’s founder and CEO Brock Wagner has been named to the Board of Directors of The Brewers Association. The organization is the result of a merger of the Association of Brewers and the Brewers Association of America.
“By combining the two organizations, small brewers such as Saint Arnold, will gain a stronger voice in the media, in the nation’s capital and in state legislatures,” said Wagner. “We are dedicated to promoting and protecting the interests of America’s small brewing industry.”
Saint Arnold Brewing Company, the oldest microbrewery in Texas, has emerged as a Texas treasure among those who appreciate tasty beer. Now in its 11th year, Saint Arnold Brewing is projecting a sales increase of 25 percent in 2004, which is more than seven times the 3.4 percent increase projected nationally for microbrewed beer.
