Patrick-Wiley.jpgHOUSTON and AUSTIN, TEXAS, June 23, 2014 – Aldridge (www.aldridge.com), a leading provider of information technology (IT) outsourcing with elite first-response support, today established a strong foothold in the important Austin, Texas market. Aldridge announced the completion of its acquisition of Clyde Bennett & Associates (www.cwbserv.com), a leading reseller of electronic medical records (EMR) solutions that also provides IT services for medical practices throughout the United States.

  • Aldridge has retained the Clyde Bennett & Associates name for its new Austin subsidiary.

  • The acquired company’s founder, Clyde Bennett, remains as President of the subsidiary.

  • Aldridge has retained all Clyde Bennett & Associates employees.

“Austin is a hotbed of small and midsize businesses (SMBs) that are experiencing rapid growth, so it has been on our strategic roadmap for some time,” said Aldridge President and COO Patrick Wiley. “We are excited about providing simplified IT operations, faster issue response and Aldridge’s senior knowledge to the thousands of potential client companies in Austin.”

For the past five years, Austin has ranked number one among major U.S. markets on The Business Journals’ ranking of small-business vitality. In 2014, Aldridge’s other two core markets, Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth, are ranked number five and number 13 on the list respectively.

“Joining with Aldridge provides our company the boost of technical resources necessary to sustain our continued growth,” Bennett said. “We look forward to expanding our EMR software solutions to medical practices in Houston and Dallas as well.”

This is the second acquisition in less than a month for Aldridge, which recently announced the acquisition of Houston-based IS Support, Inc. Clyde Bennett & Associates adds deep capabilities in healthcare, which is a market that Aldridge considers a growth opportunity.

Access to Aldridge’s mature and growing managed services practice will enable Clyde Bennett & Associates to penetrate further into medical practices throughout the U.S.

With the acquisition of Clyde Bennett & Associates, Aldridge has more than 75 employees and serves more than 600 clients throughout the United States.

Aldridge offers an unusual guarantee, promising to resolve 100 percent of service tickets for customers, along with the ability to walk away from a managed services contract and get a refund of any service-related fees during the first 100 days of a contract term.
