COLUMBUS, Ohio, July 31, 2007 - TechColumbus has selected the Tendenci association management software suite (www.tendenci.com) to power its new Web site, www.techcolumbus.org. Tendenci, which provides a wide array of do-it-yourself Web development functionality, enables the TechColumbus staff to easily create and maintain its own dynamic Web presence.

TechColumbus accelerates the growth of Central Ohio''s tech economy by connecting people and enterprises with valuable resources and assistance. Its new, robust Web site integrates user-friendly features, such as event promotion, registration and management, the ability to post jobs and resumes, and e-newsletter creation and distribution. Together, these capabilities make it possible for TechColumbus to enhance the online experience and to facilitate connections and communications with members and others in the region''s tech-based economy.

"As a regional advocate for technology, it is essential that we have a powerful, innovative Web presence to engage and communicate with the tech community," said Tim Haynes, vice president of member services and marketing with TechColumbus. "We were attracted to Tendenci''s do-it-yourself capabilities. It is an easy-to-use toolkit that allows us to build our own Web site, create pages and edit site navigation while also gaining access to leading edge Web marketing capabilities."

Tendenci has a built-in Content Management System that allows multiple site administrators to easily add and edit content without the inconvenience of going through a Web site administrator. The site''s online calendar will play a critical role in promoting more than 100 events hosted each year by TechColumbus. Online surveys poll visitors and report market opinions real-time.

TechColumbus is the fourth regional technology center across the country to select Tendenci to power its Web site. The Houston Technology Center (www.houstontech.org) has used Tendenci since 2004, the Louisiana Technology Council (www.ltc-la.org) implemented Tendenci last year and the Hampton Roads Technology Center (www.hrtc.org) in Virginia recently launched their Tendenci site.

Tendenci was created by Schipul - The Web Marketing Company (www.schipul.com), a leading worldwide provider of Web-based solutions for membership organizations. The Web-based system automates and simplifies many of the functions of association management.
