Mezeo Software Chief Technology Officer John Eastman provides an overview of the Mezeo Cloud Storage Platform, a software-only solution that can be deployed in your datacenter or by a hosting provider. The platform provides for support and utilization of many different back store technologies and backup/replication strategies. This results in a variety of differentiated cloud storage offerings, in terms of backup, cost, geo location and performance. The flexibility of the platform, and our use of Linux and PostgreSQL (for the metadata repository and file catalog) provides for easy deployment and ready use of the software.
