Data presented at the 2013 PULSE Conference – Debit NOW indicates that 15 percent of all mobile phone users in the U.S. made mobile payments in 2012. It was an increase, but far from an explosion –up just 25 percent from 2011’s survey findings. Nonetheless, mobile payments is commanding a lot of attention at this year’s PULSE Conference. One of those speaking on the subject was Lee Wetherington of ProfitStars who says consumers are concerned not about how they pay but about finding better ways to shop and spend.
