HOUSTON, November 8, 2011 – Social media tools such as Twitter, Facebook and YouTube can be a boon for nonprofit organizations – providing a platform that can quickly spread information, recruit and mobilize volunteers, and raise funds. (www.schipul.com) today announced that CEO and President Ed Schipul, and Communications Director Katie Laird, will present at the 2011 Power Tools for Nonprofits Conference to help nonprofits take advantage of social media.

Their workshop, “Social Media Success through Human Motivations and Smart Tactics,” will offer examples of how nonprofits around the world have motivated people both online and offline using smart Web marketing tactics and tools. The session will offer tips on how to use social technologies to accelerate the pace of achieving nonprofit goals.
